I personally never enjoyed the movie at all. Did anyone see the show when it was on tour?

I saw it in Chicago last christmas and it was very good! Im excited to see it come to New York. I wonder what theater it will be at. I could see it at the Al Hirshfeld!

I saw it both on tour and in Seattle at the 5th and I loved it! Fantastic/catchy music and really great story telling. I really hope to be able to see it again on Broadway! :)

Okay now this is exciting. My school announced at the end of this season that our Christmas show is going to be A Christmas Story and now it's coming to Broadway too!! Just like we did Anything Goes while it's playing on Broadway! We are totally on top of our game!!!

Its going in the St James...which is why Bring it On is a limited run, the Jujamcyns have want to give it their prime theater because like all holiday shows in their first season, with the possible exception of Elf, are HUGE money makers. ACS has gotten decent reviews on the road, so i don't think it will be the critical Bloodbath of Elf or White Christmas. You can bet the Jujamcyns want to milk it for all its worth. The only way things will change is if Bring it On is a big hit, because then it will likly get the Hershfeld forcing Into The Woods into the Neil Simon, or Lunt Fontanne.

Into the Woods would look beautiful in the Lunt.

Critical bloodbath or not, Elf made boatloads of money at the Hirschfeld.

Yes but it only sold out 2 weeks unlike Grinch and White Christmas which sold out most of their initial runs it still sold extremly well and couldnof made more money in the St james during holiday weeks, only American Idiot was already there.
Rember the first show to out gross Wicked was Grinch during Xmas week at the St James and it was headline news.

Well it can't be any worse than White Christmas. I HATED that piece of $#&(*&!@# lame excuse for a show when I saw the tour.

The cast recording they made of the tour is a bit of a bore. It's easily my least favorite of the recent Broadway Christmas shows. Personally, I wish the producers of the Grinch would bring that back to Broadway. It would be nice to finally have a cast recording of the score.
That's right! Underscore mother-fu@#ers!

It's a Pasek and Paul season in NYC.
These kids are very talented and cute.
They could get TONY (and other) noms and hopefully some sexy press coverage.

Based on the production photos, GRINCH had beautiful effects and scenery. The current tour of White Christmas was the cheapest looking show I have seen in my life. I have seen high school productions with better quality. The false proscenium was completely dented in and crooked on one side, the walls shook when a door was closed, and the drops were faded, wrinkled, and threadbare. It was an abominable mess that was painful to sit through, and even more painful to look at. At least the Broadway production looked pretty. I am excited for A Christmas Story though, and I hope it will be well received and do well!

I am surprised Grinch hasn't came back to Broadway.
